ANNOUNCING A SPECIAL EVENT

On Friday, April 26, 2024, Parma Heights Christian Academy will be having a "Race for Education" -- a fun event to raise $50,000 to generate essential support for the education of our students. This year, we are earmarking the funds for technology upgrades (Smartboards and laptops), classroom furniture (chairs and desks), and much needed new carpet.  Students will be walking, jogging, or running around a designated area for a forty-five minute period of time.  Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a donation to our school.  Please consider sponsoring a student today.  All donations are tax deductible.  Thank you.

SHOWING YOUR SUPPORT FOR A STUDENT IS EASY

1. Type your student’s name in the box below and click “Search.” His or her full name will then appear alone or in a list, along with their grade.

2. Click on the “Donate Now” button beside your student’s name, and make your contribution.

3. Consider helping to spread the news about the "Race for Education." Below your student’s name you will see the wording: SHARE THIS STUDENT URL, and next to that will be his/her specific webpage URL. Click on the social media icons or copy & email the link to their page.

You can give any amount, of course, and those who contribute $50.00 or more will have their name and their sponsored child’s name on a special blue sneaker to be displayed in the school’s main hallway as a way to encourage and rally our students.

If you donate *$200.00 you will be a "Classroom Sponsor." A special yellow sneaker with your name and the student's name will be placed outside the student's classroom, and a yard sign will be placed around the school track on Race Day.

If you donate *$400.00 you will be a "Event Sponsor." In addition to the yellow sneaker and the yard sign, your name will be put in a Sponsorship Booklet that will be distributed to the school community.

We should also tell you that students, as well as their class and their family, can win prizes (e.g., Jeans Day Passes, Prize Table Items, Free Pizza Lunch, One Week Dress Down Passes, Ice Cream Party, Movie & Popcorn Party, Fun Day Pass, First Place Ribbons, Special Treats, and much more!) for the number of sponsors they recruit. Finally, contact your sponsored student to find out the time that he or she will be walking, jogging, and running.
